Notice on the processing of personal data collected through it-alvideo.com and the company’s contact channels, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data processed
- Contact requests: name, email address, message and information provided by email or telephone. Form submissions also record the referring page, language and acknowledgement of this notice.
- Technical data: IP address, access date and time and requested page in server logs; an identifier derived from the IP address to limit repeated form submissions.
Purposes and legal bases
- Handling enquiries, quotations and assignments: pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). This includes sending a confirmation email for the enquiry.
- Tax and accounting requirements: legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Website security and operation: the controller’s legitimate interest in preventing abuse and managing technical faults (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing data is optional. Name, email and message are required to submit and handle enquiries through the form. Data is not used for newsletters or advertising communications.
Recipients and data location
Data is accessible to authorised staff and hosting and email service providers within the scope of their duties. Data may be shared with relevant advisers for obligations relating to assignments. Data is not made public.
The website is hosted by GameHosting in its Milan data centre; domain and email services are managed by Aruba S.p.A. Data is processed within the European Union.
Retention
- Contact requests: 24 months from submission; 10 years from submission for requests associated with a contract. The 24-month period also applies to emails concerning enquiries that do not lead to an assignment.
- Form protection identifier: valid for one hour.
- Server logs: retained according to the log rotation cycle.
- Backups: retained according to the backup replacement cycle.
Aggregated enquiry counts containing no personal data are retained for statistical analysis.
Data subject rights
Where provided for by the GDPR, data subjects may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by contacting info@it-alvideo.com. Requests are handled within the time limits set by Article 12 GDPR, normally within one month.
Complaints may be lodged with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. No profiling or decisions based solely on automated processing are carried out.
